Cooper Lighting and Security is one of the operating companies of Cooper Menvier, a division of Cooper Industries, responsible for lighting, security and fire system products in Europe.

Cooper Industries has an annual turnover of over \$4.7 billion, employing over 29,000 people in more than 100 countries around the world.

The products of Crompton Lighting, Menvier and JSB are all now available from Cooper Lighting and Security. The brands have been reorganised to operate as one trading company in the UK. A specialised sales team support specifiers, providing technical and quotations for mains lighting, emergency lighting and fire detection systems. In addition, a separate commercial sales team provides support to a network of distributors for all product types.

Manufacturing is concentrated in Doncaster, with a National Distribution Centre located nearby. Major projects are co-ordinated from the London office at Waltham Abbey. Substantial investment has been made in customer support services on all sites and in tooling, manufacturing machinery and logistics. With this infrastructure, Cooper Lighting and Security is well placed to further strengthen its position as clear market leaders in lighting, emergency lighting and fire detection systems.
