Anglo-Danish Fibre Industries Ltd was formed in 1997 following the merger of Fibrin (Humberside) Ltd (ADFIL UK) and Cemfiber A/S (ADFIL DK). The combined Group uses the latest equipment and technologies in the production and distribution of quality polypropylene fibres for the Construction Industry. With over 30 year's combined experience in innovation and fibre development, ADFIL has access to and draws from many areas of expertise, including: concrete technology and design, production, quality engineering, logistics and Health & Safety. ADFIL is a global supplier of fibres to the Construction Industry and other related Industries and is proud to represent itself in many languages.

In 2004 Adfil was bought by Low & Bonar PLC, and now operates within the Yarns & Fabrics Division.
